I’m pleased to say that I think I am done with the redesign of Jalapeno.

I feel that the new design is nice and simple, but has enough style to look nice (I also love the grass effect at the bottom). If you are using a decent browser everything has nice rounded corners

I also have included a twitter feed (bottom) and a link to my latest music listenings from last.fm (bottom) and picture uploads to Flickr (right).

The weather now shows a brief summary with trends, and links to the full detail page.

I’ve also worked on the webcam page, and clicking on the image brings up a slideshow of all the images since I set the camera up in October, when there were leaves on the trees. Every day the image is saved at noon, and it’s been quite nice seeing the leaves change color, then fall off.

Since mid-December we’ve had snow on the ground continuously, and it getting deeper by the day. I know England has had it’s worst snow for 18 years, but just think, we get all that every week until mid-March.

So now all the styling is done, I can add some more content, and hopefully more rants.
