Well the ice storm has left us, and now we are waiting for the snow. We were without power for about 60 hours, which is about 59 hours more than is exciting. I think we will be buying a generator some time in the near future (before or after the new roof is the main question though).

There was a big ice storm on Thursday, and we have no power and hence no heat or water. Glad we got the wood stove as that is keeping us warm and we can cook on that and the barbie. Standing outside, cooking sausages at 12f now.
